Sometimes I miss women. Not because they’re women but because women are so much more gentle and caring than men. Alex, no matter how possessive or controlling or paranoid she was, she never once made me feel like a piece of meat. Even years after we’ve broken up she still treats me civil. Maybe it’s the wrong men. It’s the arrogant, control freak, “you should do this or act like this or not act like this” men. It’s the men who aren’t patient and who aren’t mature enough for us sophisticated creatures. Sometimes I think I’m better off alone.
